Founders

Sarah Maestrales, Ph.D.

Dr. Maestrales is a Solutions Strategist and Research Consultant based in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Sarah has a Ph.D. in Measurement & Quantitative Methods, a B.S. in Physics, and an A.A. in Psychology. Her broad educational background allows her to take on, and enjoy, diverse roles within projects that provide opportunities to apply her skills in new situations. Dr. Maestrales’ primary focus is the creative application of statistical models and data pipelines to create and optimize assessments, improve GenAI output, and reduce AI expenditures.

Ifeyinwa Onyenekwu, Ph.D. LMSW

Dr. Onyenekwu is a Learning Leader and Subject Matter Expert with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education Policy Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. Experienced instructor and health educator with demonstrated skills in Written and Verbal Communication (Public Speaking), Presenting, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Time Management, Problem Solving, Project Management, and Health and Wellness.

Kari Beth Krieger, Ph.D.

Dr. Krieger is the CEO and Founder of Intermission, Inc. which is a center for Equine Facilitated Healing. She has a Ph.D. in Genetics from Iowa State University. Previously, Dr. Krieger served as a Senior Quality Supervisor at Boston Scientific. She also has almost 20 years experience as an editor including academic publication and the development of educational materials for Advanced Placement STEM courses.

Travis Wichert

Travis Wichert is an eccentric, innovative, dirty-rotten IT generalist who loves the interdisciplinary challenges of what we’re calling “cloud computing.”​ Most of his professional experience is in systems engineering, networking, devops, and project management. His favorite projects creatively push the limits of existing technologies in inventive ways, but like mathematical proofs, are built from blocks of proven solutions. He has worked as a DevSecOps Engineer for the U.S. Department of Transportation and as a Principal System Administrator (NASA Center for Computational Sciences) at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

Sadie Gunnink, Ed.D.

Dr. Gunnink is the CEO and Founder of Rise Evolved. She has an Ed. D. in Education specializing in the integration of learning technologies. She designs the learning materials, systems, and environments people need to perform at their best.

Sarah Heany

Dr. Heany has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience with a focus on socio-behavioural neuroscience outputs from the University of Capetown South Africa. She is a specialist in Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience. Her back ground includes, Data Science and Interdisciplinary Research Methodology. She is a Mellon Scholar and Oppenheimer Fellow.

Gordon Tai

Gordon’s work spans across 3 key pillars: international trade, technology, and education
Trade: I focus on AgriCommodities and Energy, covering CIF sugar (ICUMSA) and CIF or TTT EN590 fuel. Via CapFiX, he connects trusted suppliers and buyers and facilitate structured, verifiable trade flows built on transparency and long-term value.
Technology: Gordon leads AI enablement and transformation projects, integrating ERP systems and AI-driven workflows that streamline operations, enhance hiring, and drive scalability.
Education: Gordon also helps local and international students, particularly from China and EMEA regions, access English programs and university pathways in Malaysia, bridging global education with real-world opportunity.

Davi DeConti, Ph.D.

Dr. Deconti is an educator fascinated by new ideas. He seeks to understand the demands of each individual to be able to infect them with the same enthusiasm for knowledge and innovation that he holds himself. As an Instructional Designer and Corporate Educator, his goal is to deliver rich and engaging learning experiences for corporate training, both in remote and in-person contexts. My mission is to foster transformation. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Applied Linguistics, and his research concerns planning and assessment of new learning technologies in different contexts. He also writes as Decco Faria.

Henno Kotze

Henno is a learning innovator, transforming education through AI-amplified systems and products. He oversees enterprise-scale digital transformation and AI innovation at Brisbane Catholic Education, shaping governance and strategic adoption across a diocese of 146 schools. Leading cross-functional teams, he designs and implements AI systems to accelerate learning, empower educators, and future-proof education. He has advised and partnered with leading organisations, including the Australian Government’s Department of Education Skills and Employment (DESE), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Cambridge University Press, and the International Society for Technology in Education, to shape digital transformation strategies and scalable learning solutions.
At the University of Queensland, he spearheaded the IELTSx MOOC on edX—now with 1.2 million users and ranked 8th most popular online course of all time. I led digital curriculum transformation, orchestrated the transition of 100+ teachers to online learning during COVID-19, and as founder of the English Australia Ed-Tech Special Interest Group, I mobilised large-scale communities of practice advancing the future of learning in Australia and abroad.

Daanish Mustafa, Ph.D.

Through a 20 year career that has spanned capital markets, publishing and education leadership, Daanish has a proven track record of revenue growth through innovation. Daanish believes that an idea is only successful if it sells; and every dream is a hundred ideas waiting to happen. Think big, but don’t forget the devil in the detail: Delivery is king!
Daanish has over a decade of start-up and business development experience. Notably, he has doubled the revenues of a publishing company over three years and built a new school brand, growing the enrolment to 200 students in a 20 month period. With a strong background in law and finance, Daanish’s strategic acumen has been directed towards building profitable companies in the education sector of Pakistan, driven by the urgent need to change education and schooling. As an Edtech founder, he understands the importance of an engaging user journey to ensure the products is successful. Daanish brings varied industry experience along with a strong understanding of the local market factors in the region he is operating, a strong desire to innovate and grow business lines to a point of profitability and sustainability. He believes the world today is a rapidly changing, and innovating and delivering is the key to building a successful and profitable brand or business.
